JBL MAGIC ROSE – 1993 Black AQHA mare (Mitos Silver Magic x Mito Commander & Feature Rose x Feature) HYPP N/N

Rosie is the mare featured in our logo.  She’s probably the most beautiful mare I’ve ever seen and was purchased to be my show mare.  Unfortunately our show career never got off the ground as Rosie was diagnosed with navicular, DJD & Dynamic Cord Compression.  Due to her health issues, Rosie is retired from our broodmare band and spends her days keeping everyone else in line and being the “Queen” of the pasture.  Rosie carries the bloodlines of Mito Commander, Feature, Impressive, Mito Paint, Chicaro & Pawnee Eagle.

ANGEL STAR ZILLION – 2003 Sorrel AQHA mare (Skipa Star Jr. x Skipa Star & My Angel Zillion x Zip Zillion) HYPP N/N

Silly Filly is a big soggy mare with a fabulous disposition & great conformation.  Silly carries the bloodlines of Skipa Star, Skipper’s Lad, Impressive, Zip to Impress, Zippo Pat Bars & Zip Zillion.  Her grandsire, Zip Zillion, has produced numerous champions, not only in the halter ring, but in Trail and WP and of course, her other grandsire, Skipa Star is a legend!

LA COSTA BONITA – 2001 Black AQHA mare (Gold Coast Approval x Uptown Senorita)

Bonnie is very special to us.  She was a gift from our dear friends, Rich & Lisa Cripps in California and will be treasured  always.  Bonnie’s pedigree includes some of the old greats in the QH industry  such as Quincy Feature, Sir Quincy Dan, Sugar Bars,  Triple Chick, Buzz Bar & Croton Oil. Bonnie is in foal to Hot Fudge Chip for a late April 08 baby.  This foal will be black or dark bay as Fudge is  homozygous black and should be a WP machine!  We cannot wait for our Fudge baby to get here!

OBVIOUSLY A STARDUST – 2005 Palomino QH mare (Skipa Stardust x Concensuous x Concention) HYPP N/N

Tulip is a very special mare.  This is my dream horse.  She has the sweetest disposition of any horse I’ve every known and the beauty to match.  Tulip’s sire, Skipa Stardust has points in WP  & her dam has produced Hesa Fine Fella, (4^th PHBA World Show yearling stallions, open & amateur, 1^st PHBA Dixie Nationals yearling stallions, 1^st Houston Stock Show PHBA yearling stallions and is currently being qualified for the AQHA 08 World Show).  Tulip’s pedigree also includes Skipa Star, Two Eyed Solo, Obvious Conclusion, Windchester, Mr. Tailwind & Boston Mac.  Tulip is in foal to Zippos Gold Rolex and this baby will be a “show-stopper”.  I’m going to have a hard time parting with this foal and if this cross produces what Charlen McBride and I think it will – this will be the one we keep to show & promote.  Plus, we have the possibility of having Rolex’s first yellow baby.  Tulip is also the “Princess in Training” here under Rosie.

SOLOMONS REWARD – 02 Sorrel AQHA mare – (Solomon Securitee x Sonnys Securitee by Unique Reward x Skips Ease) HYPP N/N

Sully is our newest addition and comes to us through the generosity of Jessie Baker of Rose Valley Ranch.  We are so pleased to have Sully come live with us.  She has such a sweet disposition and a stunning face and head.  Sully has great bloodlines as she is a granddaughter of Sonny’s Securitee and is double bred Weiscamp on the bottom.  Her pedigree also includes such greats as Conclusive, Azure Te, Impressive, Sonny Dee Bar, Red Sonny De, Rukin String, Skipper W and Sonny Go Lucky.  Sully is in foal to Hustlers Fabulous Too, a double registered sorrel sabino overo stallion.  We are excited about this cross as “Eddie” carries such great bloodlines as Ima Hustler Too, Red Sonny Dee, Jackie Bee, Poco Pine,  Zippo Pat Bars, Cutie J Bar and Sonny Dee Bar.  This baby will be triple registered with APHA, AQHA & PtHA.  I’m hoping this foal will inspire me to conquer my fear and venture into the show ring.

SOME KIND OF SINN – 05 Bay Overo  APHA Mare (I’m Something Special x Nativo Sinn)

Prissy is our baby and will always be with us.  We lost her dam, Bree, this year due to complications during foaling so she’ll take her mom’s place in our broodmare band when I find a stallion I like enough to cross with her.  This is our “hard luck” filly.  She was injured at a month old when another mare ran her through a round pen panel and was impaled through the chest & shoulder by that panel – ending any chance of a show career.  Thanks to a great vet and lots of TLC she recovered without any permanent damage, but she will always carry the scar.  Prissy carries the bloodlines of Blue Max, Goldseeker Bars, Raise A Native, Sinn Fein and Native Dancer.
